تم سامنے تھے اس لئے سودا نہیں کیا ۔

ورنہ متاع ِ دل کو تو سستا نہیں کیا۔

میں ہی تمہارے بخت کی روشن لکیر تھی

تم نے گنوا دیا مجھے ، اچھا نہیں کیا۔

تجھ سے محبتوں کی خطائیں ضرور کیں

لیکن یقین کر ، کبھی دعوی نہیں کیا ۔

اپنی ہی ذات پر انہیں تنہا سہا مگر

ہم نے اذیتـوں کو بھی آدھا نہیں کیا ۔

چِھن چِھن کے پھر ملے ہیں محبت کے ذائقے

رب نے تو میرے رزق کو تھوڑا نہیں کیا۔

شامل ہیں میری عمر میں فرقت کی ساعتیں۔

ان روز و شب سے ہجر کو  منہا نہیں کیا۔

شعروں نے میرے کرب کی تشہیر خوب کی۔

میں نے تو اپنے زخم کا چرچا نہیں کیا

Nahin Tumhare Bhakt ki Roshani La kar

Tumne janwa Diya Mujhe Achcha nahin kiya,

Tum Sa Mohabbatan ki Khata zarur kain

lekin yakin kar, Kabhi Dawa nahin kiya,

Apni He Zaat Par inha Tanha Sahi Magar!

Humne Azyato ko bhi Aadha nahin kiya,

Chin Chin Ke Phir mile Hain Mohabbat Ke  Zaeika

Rab Ne To Mere to mere Rizq ko thoda nahin kiya,

Shamil Hai Meri Umra mein furkat ki samatain

in Roz o shab se Hijr Ko Manha nahin kiya,

Sheron Nea Mere qurb ki tasher khob ki

Main To apni  Zakhm ka Charcha nahin kiya.
