 نقشں الفت کو دما غوں سے مٹانے والا

 کتنا ناداں تھا مجھے چھوڑ کے جانے والا

 خود بھی جلتا ہے سرے شام صبح ہونے تک

 اپنے پروانے کے جذبات جلانے والا

 عمر بھر روئے گا فرقت کی اندھیری شب میں

 اپنا دامن میرےہاتھوں سے چھڑانے والا

 اپنی مجبوری کا پیغام ہے دیتا شاید

  دیکھ کر آنکھوں میں آنکھوں کو چرانے والا

 بد دعا دیتا نہیں دعویٰ مگر ہےعنصر

 خود بھی روتا ہے کسی دل کو رولا نے والا
